Albion Online: T1, T2 and T3

They were not in the game up to T3 so I did not notice them and was not having fun. I went in and cleared out several solo dungeons and thought where is the loot, where is the treasure chests, what is the point of coming in here…

What was the point of T1 when I could immediately make T2 and T3 one right after the other. The time I spent in my T1 gear was to make T2, then the same thing for T2 to T3. I took time to create gear to make more Cheap Albion Online Silver. I didn’t do anything in that gear of note before going to the next tier. That is about as basic and generic as it can be. There may as well just be a timer that counts down until I can change my gear from 2 to 3. That is just as boring. I didn’t adventure in my brand new tier 2 gear. I didn’t feel any more powerful. I just went from T1 to T2 when I had the stuff to make it.

I am glad to learn that later in the game that stuff appears, but it certainly doesnt appear soon enough. I spent an entire weekend playing the game because my wife and children were out of town and I didn’t get anywhere. I just grinded through the same boring tasks and quests and felt like the game was empty and very generic. You can flame me because I didn’t dedicate weeks of my life on the dull grind to reach PVP, but wouldnt it just be better to make the game fun from the start? Who cares how far I made it with the help of a lot of AO Silver? The game makes a bad first impression. If this game were to be released it would get something like a 1 or 2 out of 5 and that would crush the future of the game. Its very hard to recover from a slew of initial bad reviews. I see potential to this game and that’s why I cared enough to even leave my feedback. It’s generic, but has a good foundation. In it’s current form it seems like an rpg maker program or something. Like a bare game waiting for content and rule sets to be implemented.

I read this was supposed to be released in January. That would have been bad. They pushed it back and that is good, but I don’t see this getting finished in three months (I could be wrong) and I hope they take the time to turn this into a great game because I paid for it and think the game is crap right now. I would love to come back later and find a great game waiting for me that I already paid for. Right now there is no point wasting time playing this.

Albion Online: T1, T2 and T3

Trust me I play MMOs long enough to see the change in the playerbase as they whine that they don’t get special thingies for breathing, for logging in and for making one step. Sandbox games usually don’t do it. Sandbox games are about cooperation, about playing with other people way more than other mmos, about having a goal and going for it or about just having fun. But most importantly, they are about what you make of the tools given to you. There is no treasure chest at the end of the dungeon? So? You expected super reward for it? Why? Its a world where people make the world, sure there will be more tools added and players will find different things to do. It is beta, it is not a finished game.

Some people like it some don’t. There is millions of people who love WoW and other millions of people who despise that game. Nothing is for everyone.

Every game is repetitive. One of the most popular games today is GW 2, yet I found it horribly boring and its the most repetitive game I’ve ever played, since they made one dungeon where most people farmed at one point, over and over and over and over and over and over. Yet those people love it and play it. I couldn’t do it despite having a good group of people with Cheap Albion Online Gold. It was just killing me. This game is similar so far as the maps are made by hand, so the dungeons are similar, but the PvE is challenging, unless you have a glacial staff that is just ridiculously strong and know how to use it. But any mistake can cost you the whole dungeon run. If you can get to the dungeon in the first place as for higher tiers you have to go to PvP zones, so might not even get there and instead you are suddenly standing naked in the nearest city.

P.S. I hope there is never any music in game, because hearing the steps or skills of other people is important in this game. You should explore Albion more so you are able to experience it. Do you even have a good guild that suits your playstyle?

Blade & Soul VS Revelation Online: Who does Eastern MMORPG better

The upcoming English version of Revelation Online and the current action MMORPG, Blade & Soul have caused quite an uproar for their distinct features and settings. Both these games have quite a lot of sought after and desireable features and it’s up to you on which one you will want to play.

Blade & Soul: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The graphical fidelity of this game has held up as a competitive force angainst many other rival MMO’s of this genre. The graphics show their age at times but are still pretty none the less.
The overall textures in the enviroment are decent enough, but you can tell where the game lacks.
The game has little to no physics or ways to physically interact with the enviroment which doesn’t hurt the game persay, but it would be a nice touch if they had them.
The optimization on the game isn’t half bad. Most people with average computers could run this game on Med-High with little disruptions/lag. However, in certain areas such as major cities you might experience some sort of disruptions with your gaming experience.
This game has aged over the years and is quite old none the less. The later areas however have greatly improved along the years.
Blade & Soul uses the Unreal Engine 3, which is a very commonly used graphics engine still used to this day, which is a good sign for lots of games.

Revelation Online: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The overall quality feels like a mix of cartoons and realism, which gives you a unique feel of the game that can be very immersive at times.
The smooth and crisp textures can be noticed from a bird’s eye view. This game is fairly new, so I bet they have had time to make the textures nice and polished.
The game can run smoothly on a decent rig on max settings, which is fairly good to hear seeing as others can barely run on a potato. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
The multitude of options to optimize your game to your liking is a nice bonus to see in this game.
The newish feel you get from this Revelation Online will last for quite a while and leave a dent on your pleasure receptors.

Blade & Soul: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
When creating a character you have an array of tools to form your ideal masterpiece that you can show to all the players in-game.
You can distort you character’s body to that of a small person or that of a giant with just fiddling with a few of their many sliders
The unproportioned and unrealistic bodies of the players give the character a sexy yet realistic feel to them.
Blade & Soul offers a variety of costumes that allow you to fit in with the eastern theme. They do however; have many immersive breaking costumes (which isn’t technically a bad thing), that are very appealing to the eye.
They also give a plethora of accessories to pick from too add a little “pop” to your character’s style which varies from glasses to hats to hairstyles.
This game has 4 different races to choose from as well as 9 classes to pick from, which is a nice variety.

Blade & Soul: GMs Obtained Unreleased Weapons in the Game Illegally

A report from the Blade & Soul community about the unreleased items (the image below) in the game raised a lot of attention recently. It was first speculated to be obtained through hacking tools by the community. The game’s Community Manager Rukkirii responded yesterday, claiming that these unreleased items were in the game because the GMs used NCsoft’s tool “in an unauthorized manner”.

Rukkirii wrote at the forum:
Last night, we received reports that there were characters in game that had items that aren’t available in our game. We found that two of our support agents were using our tools in an unauthorized manner. The items no longer exist on the accounts and we will be resolving the staff matter appropriately and internally. It is against our internal policy for items to be created for personal characters.

We’ve also received a report regarding a potential item duplication issue and while we take every matter seriously, with a deeper look, we discovered that the video was recorded on an illegal server. We caution players to be careful of downloading unofficial programs. We do appreciate the community reports and will investigate accordingly.

We hope this clarifies what we’ve experienced today. Please continue to send potentially game breaking or game concern issues to us directly.

The clarification raised new concern, as some players were worried about the GM’s going rogue and NCsoft’s failing on detecting such behavior. Feel free to share your opinions of this topic in comment.

Weapon Path & Gem Hammer Changes Coming to Blade & Soul

Today NCsoft has announced a heads-up on a few progression changes coming to Blade & Soul in next few weeks, including the weapon upgrade paths and some new ways to improve your weapons with gems. Check below for the details:

Weapon Upgrade Paths
Currently, there are two paths players can take while upgrading their weapons, which are described as Moonwater Plains and Silverfrost Mountains—named after the areas you collect the materials for your weapons. On June 1 the final tiers of Moonwater Plains—the Siren and Pirate weapon paths—will be retired, and any weapons on those paths will be diverted to the Silverfrost Mountains path at the next applicable evolution.

To clarify, True Profane will now only be able to progress to Oathbreaker and True Siren will only be able to progress to True Oathbreaker. The path from True Pirate will remain unchanged and can only progress to True Breeze.

Part of the reason for this change is that in an upcoming in-game event you’ll be able to reduce your upgrade costs with a new item called a Nebula Weapon Upgrade Stone. These stones can be used in place of an Evolution weapon to reduce the amount of materials and gold required for weapon upgrades, and can reduce your upgrade costs by 10–40%.

To give you some more background on our decision, in the original Korean version of Blade & Soul these weapon paths were retired at the release of the Silverfrost Mountains expansion. When NCsoft looked at average player progression at the time Silverfrost was going to come out, they made the decision to give players an option on how to progress, and kept the old path. While Pirate and Siren are considered to generally be cheaper routes to take, it requires continuous farming of lower-level dungeons to obtain the necessary materials. The official team think the player experience would be better served by being able to play in the new Silverfrost content, while also removing some of the weapon upgrade path complexity and short-term upgrade costs. With the weapon upgrade discounts provided by the Nebula Weapon Upgrade Stones in the upcoming in-game event, this is a great time to retire the old paths, help everyone upgrade faster, and get players into more of the content they want to be playing.

If you’ve been collecting Pirate Emblems and other upgrade materials for the Moonwater Plains weapon path, you have until June 1 to choose this path.

Gem Hammers and Gem Sockets

A while back NCsoft had identified an issue with players potentially losing the gem sockets they unlocked with Gem Hammers when they upgraded their weapon to the Silverfrost Mountains path. While this is how this system is intended to function, and has functioned in other regions, could be improved. Since then NCsoft have been continuing to work on the functionality, and starting May 11, any gem sockets opened with Gem Hammers on your weapon will no longer reset when transitioning from the Moonwater Plains weapon progression path to the Silverfrost Mountains weapon progression path. You’ll also still have the chance to gain additional gem sockets beyond the ones you’ve unlocked. Due to your feedback this is a change being made for other regional versions of Blade & Soul as well.

In addition, the official team is making changes to the number of Gem Hammers needed to unlock additional gem sockets, and unifying costs for all Moonwater Plains and Silverfrost Mountains weapon paths.

To help cover the potential loss of gem sockets due to the upgrade to Silverfrost, NCsoft have previously distributed Gem Hammers to anyone who was affected. They’ll being running another distribution of four Gem Hammers to any new characters affected with the May 11 maintenance. More details on this process can be found in the Gem Hammers for Affected Players forum post. If you’re in the process of upgrading your weapon to the Silverfrost Mountains path, please feel free to go ahead and do so.

Blade & Soul: Are Updates Getting Implemented too Fast

Blade & Soul obviously had a greatly delayed arrival to the western regions but does this mean that we want to receive the updates at a much faster rate?

Plenty of players have managed to play Blade & Soul in the past on Asian servers, but I am well convinced that there are also many who decided to wait for the official western release. We have already received the Warlock class update with just a few months after the actual release, and now, the level cap increasing Silverfrost Mountains Expansion has also been announced.

Blade & Soul: Are Updates Getting Implemented too Fast

It currently feels slightly like NCSoft is trying to make up for the delay by pumping out all the updates from Korea at an extremely fast rate. I don’t know about you guys, but I personally like to explore a content fully and I can imagine that players are struggling to max out anything if by the time they are half way, another update makes the previous one quite useless.

My opinion here, will probably be opposed by those who have played on Korean and Chinese servers because they have already seen most of the things that are currently available on the NA and EU servers, but as I mentioned earlier, there are many players for whom this is totally new stuff.

Blade & Soul: Are Updates Getting Implemented too Fast

Currently, for me, a level cap increase after just a few months into the game, seems slightly early, but perhaps it might be a vital step due to the amount of balance fixes that the expansion will hopefully bring. Are you guys satisfied with the rate of updates in Blade & Soul, or is it perhaps slightly too fast to handle?
